Empathy VS Sympathy

  • Definition: "Empathy is not connecting to an experience, it’s connecting to the emotions that underpin an experience".
  • Action: "Empathy has no script. There is no right way or wrong way to do it".
  • Difference from Sympathy: "Empathy is I'm feeling with you. Sympathy, I'm feeling for you".
  • Purpose: "Empathy is the birthplace of love and compassion, and it's the path to connection".
  • Method: It requires being present, engaging, and often just saying, "I don't even know what to say right now, I'm just so glad you told me".

Anxiety and PodCast

Podcasts can be a powerful mental health tool because they make support feel accessible, relatable, and less isolating. Hearing real conversations about anxiety, trauma, relationships, and personal growth helps normalize struggles and reminds listeners they’re not alone. Podcasts also offer practical coping strategies, expert insight, and inspiration — all in a format people can engage with anytime, anywhere.

They create connection through voice, and sometimes simply feeling understood is the first step toward healing.
